Norwegian-American’s compete to have a chance to meet Norwegian relatives they didn’t even knew existed.
This isn’t your typical Reality TV show. It’s not about the cast fighting or sabotaging each other. Chosen participants will travel to Norway to compete in good-natured, exciting and extreme cultural challenges. The show is like a cross between “Who do you think you are” and “The Amazing Race”.
Previously there has been gay and lesbian participants in the shows 7th seasons, but this years ‘Alt for Norge’ (aka ‘The Great Norway Adventure’) cast (season 8) includes transgender Cash from Olympia, USA, that makes the show more diverse than ever. You can learn more about his story in the video below. (At this time 4 episodes has been aired of 12 in total – so it’s unknown who wins).
Most charming one must be Brennan from Minnesota, just look at his introduction video below.
The show is so popular in Norway, so they are already started casting for season 9 of “Alt for Norge” (aka “The Great Norway Adventure”).
Alt for Norge are aired on Discovery Networks owned TVNorge every Sunday this autumn in Norway.
