Lady Gaga postpones European tour due to chronic pain condition
The pop megastar cancelled a Rio concert last week and has now been forced to reschedule further dates.
In a statement from concert promoters Live Nation, the pop singer is said to be “devastated” over the decision, made under the advice of doctors. “Lady Gaga is suffering from severe physical pain that has impacted her ability to perform,” the statement reads TheGuardian.com reports.
She remains under the care of expert medical professionals who recommended the postponement earlier today.
Lady Gaga suffers from fibromyalgia, a chronic pain condition; the statement says according to TheGuardian.com, she is going to use the coming weeks “to heal from this and past traumas that still affect her daily life, and result in severe physical pain in her body”.
