Transgender Legal Defense & Education Fund and its client, Ms. Charlene Bost, are pleased to announce that Bost’s federal workplace discrimination lawsuit against Sam's East, Inc., and Wal-Mart Associates, Inc., filed on December 27, 2017, has been resolved to the parties' mutual satisfaction.

There is no admission of liability on the part of the defendants.

This case is Charlene Bost v. Sam’s East, Inc. and Wal-Mart Associates, Inc. It was filed in the United States District Court for the Middle District of North Carolina. TLDEF Senior Staff Attorney Donna Levinsohn represented Ms. Bost together with Robert M. Elliot and Daniel Lyon of the North Carolina law firm of Elliot Morgan Parsonage, PLLC.
