Stena Line proud partner to EuroPride 2018
As part of Stena Line’s commitment to diversity and equal opportunities, the company has become a partner to EuroPride 2018.
Apart from taking part in the parade in Gothenburg (Sweden) where the company is headquartered, Stena Line will fly the Pride flag onboard some of its ships and terminals around Europe from 27th July to 19th August.
Stena Line is committed to maintaining and developing a sustainable working environment. The goal is to create a harassment-free company where everyone is given equal opportunities regardless of age, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, ethnicity or disability.
«At Stena Line we welcome everyone, whether you want to work here, travel with us or be one of our business. We are proud to support EuroPride and the values of equality and diversity it partners represents», says Ian Hampton, Chief People & Communications Officer at Stena Line.
Diversity in the workforce not only contributes to a more caring work environment, it also helps Stena Line to better understand its customers.
«Like us, our customers are diverse and the more knowledgeable we get, the better we will become at fulfilling their needs and creating a great travel experience which shows that we care», said Ian Hampton.
EuroPride is an international LGBTQ event hosted by a different European city each year. This year the honour is shared between Stockholm and Gothenburg and Stena Line is a Bronze Partner to EuroPride Gothenburg.
