Weiss to assist workers who face discrimination based on sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression. Weiss will serve as ‘Of Counsel’ to Outten & Golden’s LGBTQ Practice Group.

Prior to this partnership with Outten & Golden, Weiss was Executive Director of the Transgender Legal Defense & Education Fund, a Professor of Law & Society at Ramapo College, and in private law practice. She co-litigated the first transgender employment rights cases with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the U.S. Department of Justice. Some of her successful cases include: EEOC and Austin v. Deluxe Financial Services, EEOC and Branson v. Lakeland Eye Clinic, Jamal v. Saks, and Chavez v. Credit Nation Auto Sales.
