The majority of LGBTQ+ young people say their mental health has worsened during the pandemic, according to a new study.

COVID-19 is making LGBTQ+ youth feel depressed and isolated, and new research shows they are being disportionately impacted by the pandemic.

Conducted by the LGBTQ+ youth organisation Just Like Us, a survey of high school students in the United Kingdom found that 55% of LGBTQ+ kids between the ages of 11 and 18 worried about their mental health on a daily basis. Meanwhile, just 26% of their straight and cisgender peers said the same, them.us reports.
