Premier : Etan – «Feels Like Running» (Ben Howell Remix)
London-based musician and producer Etan has let us premiere the new remix her new electro-pop single «Feels Like Running».
Etan wrote the song as a tribute to the resilience of the human body after she was life-threateningly injured in a car crash and told she would never run again. Living life with a disability offered a new perspective as she continued to pursue her music career, undeterred. «Feels Like Running» is a love letter to her body.
The video features the amazing and fierce Double Paralympian and GB Sprinter, Julie Rogers. «When I actually managed to run it was unbelievable. If we choose to look within, appreciate ourselves and love ourselves for every effort, regardless of the never-ending competition and comparison we see around us. This is not a race, respect your pace».
Etan draws inspiration from musicians such as Bon Iver, Susanne Sundfore, St Vincent, and Bjork, as well as LCD Soundsystem, Hot Chip, Robyn, The Eurythmics, Georgia and more.
