Serbian LGBTQ+ centre vandalised for the 12th time
Serbia is the host country for EuroPride 2022. After a series of attacks on the LGBTQ+ population, pride organisers and activists are demanding action from the authorities.
On the night of December 23, the Pride Info Centre in Belgrade was vandalised. This is the 12th attack on the info centre since it opened in August 2018, Blikk.no reports.
The vandalism was discovered on Christmas Eve. At that time, the information center’s windows were covered with graffiti with pictures of Ratko Mladic and the inscription «Ratko Mladic Serbian Hero», reports Belgrade Pride. The official logo for EuroPride 2022 was crossed over, Blikk.no writes.
