Following a homophobic aggravated assault in Bournemouth town centre, Dorset Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.

The incident was reported to police in Exeter Crescent at 21.53 (9:53 pm) on Monday, 6 March, 2023. According to reports, a man hurled homophobic abuse at two men before pushing one of them to the ground, injuring his eye but not seriously planetradio.co.uk reports.

The police have stated that any form of hate crime will not be tolerated, and they have urged the public to come forward with any information that may assist in the investigation.
