On Saturday, 1 April 2023, the Reading Trans Movement will hold a march through town to commemorate International Transgender Day of Visibility.

The annual event, held on 31 March each year, is devoted to celebrating transgender people and raising awareness of the ongoing discrimination experienced by the trans community.

Reading Trans Movement invites trans individuals, supporters, and allies to march in solidarity with the community on Saturday, wokingham.today reports.

The Transgender Day of Visibility march will begin at 2 p.m. on Saturday, 1 April, and will travel from Broad Street to Forbury Gardens.
