Despite opposition from far-right organisations, a community in the New South Wales Illawarra came together to support a Rainbow Storytime event.
Numerous locals at Thirroul, in the northern suburbs of Wollongong, protested the drag queen Miss Roxee’s storytime session at the neighbourhood library on Saturday. Miss Roxee read tales to youngsters and their parents, ABC News Australia reports.
