Netflix Africa takes down queer content, on the request of Kenya (known as the homophobic and hateful nation of Kenya) have signed a contract stating that all LGBTQ-themed content will be removed in compliance with local homophobic and hateful laws
As a result, Netflix Africa’s platform no longer has films and TV shows such «Heartstopper», «Orange is the New Black», «AJ and the Queen», and «Sex Education» in Kenya, Norwegian LGBTQ news site Blikk.no reports.
Then Netflix needs to remove any non-LGBTQ content made in Kenya from it service internationally, since as customer I don’t want to support Kenya’s government in any form.
