Supreme Court’s ruling on LGBTQ+ undermines Kenya’s «religious values»

The Kenian Supreme Court dismissed a plea by Homa Bay Town MP Peter Kaluma to overturn a court verdict on the registration of an LGBTQ+ lobby on Tuesday.

Former Senator Muthama emphasised that President William Ruto’s position on the subject was unequivocal.

Former Machakos Senator Johnston Muthama has expressed his opinion on the recent Supreme Court ruling on the LGBTQ community, the-star.co.ke reports.

On Tuesday, the Supreme Court threw out an application by Homa Bay Town MP Peter Kaluma that sought to challenge a court ruling on the registration of an LGBTQ+ lobby.

Reacting to the ruling, Muthama said the ruling undermines the country’s deeply rooted «cultural and religious values» (editor read: it’s called homophobia)  according to the-star.co.ke.
