400 celebrities (like Helen Mirren, Gene Simmons, Debra Messing and Mayim Bialik plus several more ) are urging the world and the EBU to overlook Israel’s actions against the Palestinian people. They believe that Eurovision and music have the power to bring together people from diverse backgrounds.
Numerous news organisations have covered this, including Swedish Radio, the host country of Eurovision, today!
These famous people seem to have overlooked the fact that Palestine does not have a say in Eurovision, as only Israel is able to participate in the competition!
Everyone should remember that the Palestinian people have been terrorised by the Israeli state since 1948 and continue to be so!
The European Broadcasting Union should take a stand against the inclusion of Israeli propaganda in the Eurovision event.
