In a historic move, Northern Ireland has witnessed a significant milestone in LGBTQ+ representation as two gay men have been appointed to the Northern Ireland Executive and Assembly.
Andrew Muir has recently been appointed as the Minister responsible for overseeing Agriculture, Environment, and Rural Affairs, with John Kenneth Blair also stepping into the position of Deputy Speaker within the Assembly, gcn.ie reports.
