First Wave of Artists Announced for Bristol Pride 2024

Stars of RuPaul’s Drag Race will headline this year’s cabaret stage, with DJ legends taking over the official afterparty as Bristol Pride reveals cabaret and afterparty acts for this year’s festival. Organizers of the multi-award winning festival have announced the first wave of acts performing, with stars from RuPaul’s Drag Race and Drag Race UK taking to the cabaret stage.

Drag Race Royalty on the Cabaret Stage

This year, the cabaret stage will be graced by the presence of some of the most renowned drag queens and kings from the UK cabaret circuit. Southern sensation and breakout star of her own series and Drag Race All Stars 8, Heidi N Closet, will be crossing the pond to join the celebrations. Alongside her, Drag Race UK fan favorite, Pixie Polite, will be delivering a memorable performance. These two stars are just the beginning, as the stage will host a total of 30 acts, including renowned performers such as Mary Mac, Lola Lasagne, Son of a Tutu, and Alfie Ordinary. Returning this year is the saxophone-playing drag queen, Snow White Trash.

An Iconic Afterparty Lineup

Bristol Pride has also announced the details of the artists performing at their iconic afterparty, which will take place at the Bristol O2 Academy. The afterparty promises three rooms of incredible DJs, performances, aerial displays, and dancers.

Headlining the main room are the incredible Confidence Man DJs. These Aussie party-starters have spent the past 12 months solidifying their status as one of the hottest dance music acts of the moment. Their special DJ sets pay homage to the fun and euphoric dance music of the 90s, which inspires the original Confidence Man project.

Opening the show in their own unique style are local legends, Don’t Tell Your Mother. Known for their twist of house party vibes, unexpected classics, and dancefloor crowd-pleasers, Don’t Tell Your Mother is a monthly LGBT club night with a cult following. They pride themselves on creating a joyful raging dancefloor where everyone is welcome to let loose.

Room 2 will see Bristol club night, One More Time, join the festival for the first time. Known for their huge 90s hits, this nostalgic night will transport attendees back to the golden era of dance music.

With such an impressive lineup of cabaret acts and afterparty DJs, Bristol Pride 2024 is set to be an unforgettable celebration of diversity, talent, and inclusivity. Don’t miss your chance to be a part of this incredible event.
