Lyn FC defied Norwegian Football Association (NFF) – used gay flag as corner flag
To ask Norwegian Football Association (NFF) will allow this sort marking is obviously a futile project.
Lyn FC defied NFF and replaced their corner flag with the rainbow-colored gay flag in the match against the YMCA to say ‘No to Homophobia’ within football community.
That in spite of the Brann FC was not permitted to do the same. In connection with the May 16th match against Nest-Sotra FC they wanted to mark ‘No to Homophobia’. The message from NFF was that it is not allowed to use the corner flag markers, referring to international rules.
NFF will now demand an explanation for this disobedience from Lyn FC. Support Lyn FC fight against homophobia by follow them and tweet them your support.
