Petra Mede and Måns Zelmerlöw to host Eurovision in Stockholm!
Måns Zelmerlöw, winner of the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 and The Sexy Vote 2015 nominee, will co-host the 2016 contest in Stockholm alongside firm fan favourite Petra Mede, it was announced yesterday.
The dynamic duo are no strangers to the Eurovision Song Contest; Petra hosted the show in 2013 and earlier this year presented Eurovision’s Greatest Hits alongside Graham Norton. Måns first took part in Sweden’s national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest, Melodifestivalen, in 2007 and in 2015 he won the right to represent Sweden at the contest with his song ‘Heroes’.
2016 will be the third time that Stockholm has staged the Eurovision Song Contest. “I’m so incredibly happy to be part of the Eurovison Song Contest once more and to be doing it together with Petra Mede, whom I consider an outstanding host and also one of the most delightful people I know” says Måns Zelmerlöw.
