Police investigation into Manchester United fans’ homophobic chanting v Chelsea

Manchester United were knocked out of the FA Cup by Chelsea a couple of weeks back, losing 1-0 at Stamford Bridge.

Because at the Sun report in tomorrow’s paper, the police have opened an investigation into Manchester United fans’ alleged homophobic chanting at Stamford Bridge that night.

Manchester United fans are alleged to have chanted ‘Chelsea Rent Boys’ during the game, hence the Sun’s questionable headline according to 101greatgoals.com.

But 101greatgoals.com seems to forget, “Rent Boys” means a young male prostitute – and are common term for young gay male prostitute as well… We don’t think Manchester United fans ment that Chelsea players was “Rent Boys” for straight women.
