In addition to being drunk on a sports field during a sporting event, the man is charged with two public order offences.

A man has been charged with allegedly yelling racist and homophobic slurs during a Gillingham FC game. The 19-year-old Dartford resident was arrested on August 23, last year, following complaints to Kent Police.

The alleged incident occurred during Exeter City’s EFL Cup match. The man was granted bail pending further investigation, kentlive.news reports.
