Sweden gambles with Loreen Eurovision Icon status

Swedes thinks picking Loreen are a safe bet to win Eurovision or will the fall for the iconic Eurovision winner be big ?

Tonight was the final of Melodifestivalen 2023, Sweden picking their song for Eurovision.

Loreen hasn’t had any memorable hits outside of Sweden since 2012, so it appears that her hits come only when she wins Melodifestivalen. «Tattoo» is not on the same level as «Euphoria», I do not believe it will win Eurovision 2023 – so the fall for the Eurovision icon can be big!

I believe Marcus & Martinus, who finished second in Melodifestivalen with «Air», would have performed better than Loreen (and I love Loreen and «Euphoria»).
