The San Francisco 49ers haven’t done the best job of promoting gay rights while down in New Orleans for the Super Bowl.
First, defensive tackle Isaac Sopoaga and linebacker Ahmad Brooks didn’t recall making a gay rights “It Gets Better” advertisement.
When showed the commercial, they told the USA Today they had no idea it was to support LGBT youths, and instead thought it was just about general bullying.
