Cleo Manago Joins New York Department of Health’s Panel for Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day
Behavioral health and cultural expert Cleo Manago continues to stimulate the national discourse on HIV/AIDS and the Black community health. On Friday, February 25, in further commemoration of Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day, he will participate in the New York City Department of Health’s Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day panel discussion entitled “Part 2: Social Vulnerabilities to HIV-Disparities, Challenges, Solutions.”
November 13th Interfaith Prayer Vigil Planned in Support of the Victims in Bishop Eddie Long Scandal
Tuan N’Gai, civil rights activist, author, and founder of Silence Equals Consent (silenceequalsconsent.org), has announced an interfaith prayer vigil to be held in Lithonia, GA. Minister N’Gai plans to pray for the end of pedophilia and homophobia in the Black Church. The event will also honour the memories of the LGBT teenagers who recently took their own lives.
