U.S. Supreme Court Unanimously Reverses Alabama Court’s Refusal to Recognise Same-Sex Adoption
Today, the Human Rights Campaign (HRC), America’s largest lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) civil rights organisation, praised a unanimous decision from the Supreme Court of the United States reversing an Alabama Supreme Court’s refusal to recognise an adoption by a lesbian non-biological mother. HRC joined a coalition of organizations on an amicus brief urging the court to hear the case.
