Yesterday, GLAAD responded after a spokesperson for President Obama announced this afternoon that the President opposes the Boy Scouts of America’s policy on banning LGBT scout and scout leaders, joining Republican Presidential candidate Mitt Romney. GLAAD launched a campaign in April 2012 with Ohio mom Jennifer Tyrrell to raise awareness and combat the Boy Scouts’ discriminatory ban.
