U.S : Anti-LGBT Conference Continues Close Ties To Putin Despite Mounting International Tensions
The World Congress of Families is moving full speed ahead with plans to hold an international anti-LGBT conference at the Kremlin in Moscow this fall, despite the growing international crisis in Ukraine and the withdrawal of key conference partner Concerned Women for America over concerns that holding the conference would give the appearance of “giving aid and comfort to Vladimir Putin.”
Ugandan President Signs Horrific Anti-Gay Bill into Law
Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni today signed an archaic anti-gay bill into law. The bill, which once even included the death penalty, calls for gay Ugandans or anyone “promoting” homosexuality to be jailed – potentially for life.
Russia Officially Implements Anti-LGBT International Adoption Ban
Last Thursday, Russia officially implemented a law preventing international same sex couples from adopting Russian children. Additionally the law prevents any unmarried individuals in countries that allow the marriage of same-sex couples from adopting children from Russia.

Today in St. Petersburg, Russia, four LGBT-activists, including one pregnant woman, were arrested while trying to display a banner reading “Discrimination is incompatible with the Olympic Movement. Principle 6. Olympic Charter” to support the actions held today all over the world.
