EU Parliament demands action on LGBTI rights in Western Balkans
Yesterday, the European Parliament adopted three of its annual reports for candidate and potential candidate EU countries. In those reports MEPs have assessed the rights of LGBTI people in Macedonia, Serbia and Kosovo, and recommended the countries to improve the situation.

Last weekend, Russian newspaper Novaya Gazeta published an article revealing that over 100 people in Chechenya have been detained on suspicion for being gay, and suffered torture and humiliation. At least three men were killed.
