Today June 23rd BeLonG To – Ireland’s national organisation for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) youth – and the National Library of Ireland launched a major exhibition at the National Photography Archive charting a decade of LGBT youth rights in Ireland.
On Tuesday (17th June) Minister for Social Protection, Joan Burton, published a revised General Scheme of the Gender Recognition Bill following Cabinet approval. The new scheme provides a pathway for legal recognition for 16 and 17 years olds.
