A Manchester City footballer has been named a ‘homo hero’ for her support for gay and lesbian professional footballers.
Andrea Worrall, who works full-time as a neighbourhood housing manager for Northwards Housing, was named lesbian, gay or bisexual role model of the year at the Lesbian and Gay Foundation Awards last week.
