Rock School star Lil’ Chris found dead in Lowestoft
Lil' Chris, who launched a singing career after he found fame on reality show Rock School, has died.
The 24-year-old, whose real name was Chris Hardman, starred in the Channel 4 programme set at Kirkley High School in Lowestoft, Suffolk.
He had his first hit single, Checkin’ It Out, after he appeared on the show in 2006.
Suffolk Police said it was not treating the death, reported on Monday, as suspicious, BBC reports.
In January last year, Hardman was among several celebrities to take part in the ‘Naked’ issue of Gay Times (GT).
He told Celeb Goss that he had received an “awesome” response from his fans over the shoot, PinkNews reports.
“Well. The shoot was for The National AIDS Trust, I joined a bunch of other ‘Celebs’ to raise money and awareness. I thought i looked great. I love getting my kit of for one reason or another. So what a fantastic excuse. The response has been awesome! I’ve made loads of new fans.”
