Bournefree seeks nominations for the National Diversity Awards
Bournefree, Dorset's annual Pride event, has been nominated for the National Diversity Awards, and the public can add their vote to the nomination.
The closing date for nominations is the 21st June.
The awards are to celebrate diversity, and there is an awards ceremony being held in September which will bring together role models and community organisations for the event.

Bournefree started in 2004, when the community came together to march against a right wing anti gay organisation in Bournemouth, and has grown bigger and bigger each year. This years sees events from Friday the 10th July through to Sunday the 12th July, with a parade on the Saturday marching through the town, followed by events in the Triangle and the Lower Gardens.
