Jews and Arabs kiss in solidarity against Israeli book ban
The Israeli Ministry of Education decided to ban from the school program a book describing an affair between a jewish woman and an arab man.
So our friends at TimeOut Tel Aviv have decided to ask jews and arabs to meet and to kiss.
Six couples of jews and arabs – male and female, gay and straight – have decided to do the “forbidden deed” and express love in front of our camera.
Some of them were couples, some just friends, some have never met prior to the shoot.
Jews and arabs refuse to be enemies.
Jews and Arabs creates friends
This just shows that politicians and government sometimes creates a problem by policy, instead they should encourage people to do like these couples did, refuse to be enemies – the inside will still be the same what ever policy politicians or government creates.
