One Erection – Sticky Face
As many of you know, last year Jake Jaxson teamed up with Chi Chi LaRue to create and co-direct a project together.
Billboard Charts had just written a feature about her recording a song with RuPaul, and they’d asked why there weren’t more porn/pop crossovers. She said that the CockyBoys were basically porn’s answer to a boy band.
That’s when the light bulb went off in Jake Jaxson’s head, and One Erection was born!
It’s been a true highlight collaborating with Chi Chi on this project. Many people call her a legend—and she is—but what makes Jake Jaxson so happy is that as a result of our working together, Jake Jaxson can now call her my friend!
“One Erection: The (un)Making of a Boy Band” was their first foray into Porn Parody. Shot as a mockumenatry (they call it cockumentary), they followed our fictitious boy band New Direction, (their adoring fans call them “One Erection”) as they make the music video for their newest hit single “Sticky Face!”
All the while, they’ve been positioned by their management as “straight,” when in fact they are all GAY, GAY, GAY. It’s a perfect recipe for an epic pop star melt down— their fights, flaws and sex-capades all captured for the world to see!
And today they present that music video, along with the original single performed brilliantly by Levi Karter, Tayte Hanson, Kody Stewart, Liam Riley and Allen King.
From the start, these guys committed themselves to this crazy world, went above and beyond to work with me in creating these characters that truly go beyond paradigms of porn. I can’t thank them enough for giving me such unique and unreserved creativity.
“In the fall of 2015, international boy band sensation New Direction (also known as “One Erection” to their fans) shot the following music video for their hit single Sticky Face. Shortly after filming wrapped, the group described the video as their “coming out” in a public statement before shocking fans with the announcement of their breakup.
WARNING: This video has been banned in Iran, Saudi Arabia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, and the US. Viewer discretion advised.”
