
Swedish far-right leader needed help from Security Service to get out of a gay club
The night of Friday the Sweden Democrats party leader, Jimmie Åkesson, went to the gay club Secret Garden in Stockholm. Do to reactions from guests led to SÄPO (Swedish Security Service) chose to bring Åkesson to safety.
Jimmie Åkesson is the leader of Sweden Democrats (Sverigedemokraterna) that are described as far-right, right-wing populist, national-conservative, and anti-immigration.
According to QX.se the Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet says that the Sweden Democrats party leader had to be guided to safety by the Swedish Security Service (SÄPO) after that guests at the gay club Secret Garden has become upset with his presence.
One of the guests told Aftonbladet that “everyone was a bit shocked” by Åkesson’s presence. The atmosphere became so threatening so the Swedish Security Service after an hour decided to bring Åkesson out of the gay club.
