Daddy Squad comes through with a new single «Day Break». Hot on the (high) heels of his collaboration with Dita Von Teese, which garnered support on Radio 1/ Pete Tong, KISS FM, his new collaboration keeps exploring the Daddy Squad sound and universe.
This time around he teams up with Japanese/ American singer «Saucy Lady» for a track that throws back to the golden years of early 90’s French Touch, referencing Modjo and of course StarDust. All produced on vintage analogue synths with a filtered hypnotic guitar throughout adding the funk.
Daddy Squad says «I discovered Saucy Lady on a long wander through Spotify, and checked her Instagram and immediately fell in love. The wigs! The retro looks! The attitude! So I got in touch, and sent a backing. She had an idea, and we expanded on it, and ‘Day Break’ was the result. Collaborating over the internet with people discovered on Spotify is definitely the way forward! This collaboration was so easy and she was great to work with»
