New queer Norwegian podcast series
Carl Martin Eggesbø, known from hit TV series Skam and the upcoming big movie «Kampen om Narvik», is the host of a queer podcast initiative from the National Library (Nasjonalbiblioteket).
The podcast is entitled «Skeiv og Stolt» («Queer and Proud»)and was made in connection with the celebration of Skeivt (queer) cultural year 2022 in Norway, Norwegian LGBTQ website Gaysir.no reports.
«Skeiv og Stolt» series will tell the stories of known and unknown queer pioneers in Norway.
Some facts about the film «Kampen om Narvik – Hitlers første nederlag» («The battle for Narvik – Hitler’s first defeat»)
April 1940. The eyes of the world are on Narvik, a small town in northern Norway, source of the iron ore needed for Hiter’s war machinery. Through two months of fierce winter warfare, Hitler is dealt his first defeat.
