Britain’s first intersex train has arrived on the country’s transport network.
The multi-coloured Class 444 train, which will travel between London Waterloo and Weymouth on the South West main line, made its inaugural journey yesterday.
The train’s first journey was crewed entirely by members of the LGBTQIA+ community. Straight, cisgender employees will be permitted to work alongside their LGBTQIA+ colleagues on future journeys.
«We believe our new livery looks fantastic, and we’ve had some amazing comments from colleagues and customers», said South Western Rail (SWR), dailymail.co.uk reports.
