The Romanian Parliament will debate a draught law that would recognise same-sex weddings performed in another European Union country.
However, non-governmental organisations (NGOs) claim that the legislation does not provide equal rights to Romanian LGBTQ individuals.
The draught legislation, which comes five years after the Court of Justice of the European Union, CJEU, ruled against the Romanian state and after several more lawsuits, still need legislative approval, universul.net reports.
