The mother of murdered teenager Brianna Ghey has spoken out after Rishi Sunak received criticism for making an ‘offensive’ comment about transgender people in Parliament.
The Prime Minister faced harsh criticism for his comment made on Wednesday when Brianna’s mother Esther was at Parliament. Many people were outraged by his statement, standard.co.uk reports.
In an apparent reference to the comments, Ms Ghey wrote on Facebook: «I don’t wish to comment on reports of wording or comments recently made. My focus is on creating a positive change and a lasting legacy for Brianna».
