The TV Choice Awards will not be held at The Dorchester Hotel for the first time since 2009.

The row over Brunei’s anti-gay laws intensified as the TV Choice Awards severed ties with the Dorchester Hotel, which is owned by the Sultan of Brunei. The TV ceremony has taken place at the luxury hotel on London’s Park Lane every year but will now be moved to another location.
