Juncker I Commission – Strong promise of a European Union respectful of LGBTI rights
Today, the European Parliament gave its consent to the Juncker I Commission by a 423 – 209 majority. Over the last weeks, the Parliament has conducted hearings with the candidate Commissioners, in which their stance on LGBTI rights was a recurring topic.

Record number of employers looking for gay talent – Starting Out guide
Stonewall last night launched the tenth edition of the Starting Out guide – Britain’s national guide of gay-friendly employers for lesbian, gay and bisexual students and jobseekers. Supported by Credit Suisse, the 2014 guide showcases 573 employers and Diversity Champions – 25 per cent more than in 2013, and the highest to date.
