Coca-Cola steps up for Martine murder case
Over 50 000 people have boycotted Coca-Cola for the Martine case. Now the soft drink giant responds by boycott the father of a murder and rapist suspect, Shaher Abdulhak.
Coca-Cola confirms that Shaher Abdulhak no longer has any financial interest in our bottling factories in Libya and Egypt. The process is also underway in Yemen, because of the situation in Yemen at the moment, it will take a bit more time there, to the Norwegian Newspaper VG.
In addition, Abdulhak has chosen, to step down from the board of the Egyptian Bottling, said communications manager Stein Rømmerud in Coca Cola Norway to VG.
3 years since Martine was killed
Martine Vik Magnussen (23) was killed 14 March 2008 in London. Fellow student Farouk Abdulhak is wanted for murder, but staying in the country of Yemen, which neither Britain nor Norway has no extradition treaty. Yemeni authorities have refused to extradite him.
Thank you Coca-Cola, for stepping up for Martine!
