The LGF celebrates Manchester Day Parade in rainbow colours
The Lesbian & Gay Foundation (The LGF) is celebrating Manchester and other LGB&T friendly cities from around the world for this year’s Manchester Day Parade on Sunday 22nd June.
The theme for this year’s parade is going global so The LGF’s volunteers and staff have been working hard to create a series of globes representing cities from all over the world, complete with rainbow Saturn rings!
Anyone is welcome to walk with LGF and help represent The LGF on the day. We’ll be meeting at Upper Campfield Market, Liverpool Road, Castlefield, Manchester, M3 4FN at 11:00am this Sunday and the parade will run until 2.30pm. If you’re interested in taking part, please email: jen.lau@lgf.org.uk
