Chelsea Clinton to Address Human Rights Campaign’s Inaugural Conference on LGBTQ Youth Sunday
Chelsea Clinton, Vice Chair of the Clinton Foundation, will deliver special remarks on Sunday February 16 at Time to THRIVE, the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s first national conference addressing safety, inclusion and well-being for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) youth.
Time to THRIVE will bring together a wide range of youth service professionals to discuss the most recent best practices for serving LGBTQ youth and their families in schools, community centres, healthcare systems and beyond.
“It’s vitally important we create opportunities for young people to raise their voices, develop their talents, and join in the work of imagining and then building a better future for all of us,” said Chelsea Clinton. “Too many LGBTQ youth face significant challenges to being supported and empowered in their communities, schools and even homes because of who they are. I’m grateful Time to THRIVE is bringing people together to raise awareness and find solutions to ensure every young person can be empowered, for their future, and ours.”
