Gay Ski Week Comes to Telluride Feb. 26-March 5
When the famed Telluride AIDS Benefit Fashion Show takes the runway during Telluride’s Gay Ski Week in March, it will be in large part due to Mountain Lodge at Telluride.
Mountain Lodge at Telluride, the area’s premier ski-in/ski-out property, will serve as a sponsor the 2011 fashion show, which takes place on Saturday, March 5. The popular show closes out Telluride’s Gay Ski Week (Feb. 26-March 5), named the “Top Ski Week” in the United States by gay.com.
The resort offers lodge rooms, suites, one-, two- and three-bedroom condominiums, and private luxury cabins with up to six bedrooms. Each of its 92 units is decorated in a warm and comfortable rustic style, with cozy fireplaces, luxurious robes, gourmet kitchens, jetted tubs and private balconies or patios. Lodge rooms at the resort, one of the top 50 ski hotels in North America in Conde Nast Traveler’s 2010 annual “Best Places to Ski & Stay in North America” readers’ poll, will start at $239 during Gay Ski Week.
